The Global Digital Transparency Alliance (GDTA) is forming to establish a new foundation for trust in the digital economy. We invite organizations, regulators, technology providers, civil society groups, and researchers to join us in building transparent, accountable, and human-centered digital infrastructure.

• Transparency by Default: Systems should be glass-boxed, not black-boxed—visible, auditable, and verifiable.

• Human-Centered Consent: Digital consent must be meaningful, manageable, and machine-readable.

• Standards-Based Infrastructure: Leverage Convention 108+, ISO/IEC 29100, ISO/IEC 27560, and W3C Data Privacy Vocabularies to operationalize privacy rights.

• Accountability and Trust: Require consent receipts, transparency records, and enforceable processing claims.

• Multi-National Coordination: Support harmonized enforcement and interoperable controls across jurisdictions.
