GDTA submission to the Australian Productivity Commissioner's interim report on "Harnessing Data and Technology".

The Global Digital Transparency Alliance (GDTA) closed submission of September 15th 2025 offered our global insight and detailed models to immediately catapult the Australian Government's pursuits in trusted digital transformation and growth opportunities.

GDTA believes by acting now Australia can take a global leadership role to harness data and technology to advance the key pillar objectives showcased in the Productivity Commissioner’s Interim Report.

Our 19-page submission hopes to accelerate ongoing efforts to bridge critical gaps in existing and emerging technologies by harnessing legislation, ensuring robust protections for Australians while catalysing GDP growth.   We position a Commonwealth Treaty featuring an enforceable Digital Transparency by Default Standards base protocol approach to place governance over A.I. at scale to feed data future-focused job creation across the Commonwealth market.

With transparency implemented it will enable Australia to compete and better showcase its digital marquee projects such as eSafety, the CDR and Quantum Computing to spearhead its broader innovation economy alliances in an open governed market, as all Countries race to utilise data as a raw material.
